Kuro Interactive is an independent interactive advertising agency founded in 2004 by Michael Bachman and Justin Dionisio, in Long Beach, California. In August 2008, the agency opened its second location inside the Zaferia South Creative District of Long Beach. Kuro Interactive is specialized in creating brand experiences and marketing them through social media, experiential marketing, and interactive communications. Kuro Interactive's clients include MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Simple Green, EMI Records, CBS Records, CAbi (Carol Anderson by Invitation), Art Institutes, and Fearless Records. Recognition Kuro Interactive has been featured internationally on design related blogs and received editorial notoriety from for creating innovative user experiences. In March 2010, the agency's work for A Cowboy's Dream was featured in HOW Magazine's International Design Awards issue. Most recently, Kuro Interactive launched a collaborative global art initiative sponsored by the Art Institutes. The project, titled 'Shape the Hive' will result in the first ever documented installation art gallery based on the principles of user-generated content. The project was honored by magazine Maximum PC as one of the 100 websites to see before you die.
