Krishna A. Gosavi

Krishna A. Gosavi (6 November 1936 - 18 November 2013) was an Indian author, philosopher, and a civil engineer by profession. Gosavi was the author of Jainism: A Theistic Philosophy. He obtained his Bachelor of engineering from Osmania University (Hyderabad, India) in 1959, and completed his Master of Science in Civil (Structural) Engineering at the University of Kansas in 1962. He was professor and Principal of M.G.M Engineering college (Mumbai University).
Early life
Gosavi was born into a Jain family in Aurangabad on 6 November 1936 to Abarao and Kasturi Gosavi. Abarao Gosavi was a tailor specialized for Indian army clothes.

Spirituality
Gosavi's doctoral thesis on Jainism was published by Parshvanath Vidyapith, Varanasi, rejecting its classification in Indian philosophy as atheistic.
