Mitch Grayson (born 16 October 1984 in Killarney, Queensland) is an Australian rural journalist who works for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). He started his journalism career with The Queensland County Life, before joining the ABC in 2007. Since his time with the ABC Grayson has taken on politicians and lobby groups live on air. He broke stories in central Queensland regarding an exotic Mealybug outbreak in Australian cotton crops, lack of bushfire preparation planning during Rockhampton's worst ever bushfire season and the Australian Dollar reach parity for the first time in 26 years. Grayson presents a daily program on ABC Capricornia and has presented state and national programing on radio and television. His stories have been heard internationally, including one story on mutant toads found on the Queensland coast and how cattle auctioneers start out their careers.
