Kris Vallotton

Kris Vallotton (born January 1955) and his wife Kathy are Senior Associate Leaders at Bethel Church in Redding, California. Kris is a well-known international conference speaker and also the founder and overseer of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.
Biography
When Kris was fifteen years old, Kris's mother Shirley became seriously ill. After Kris prayed out
of desperation for God to heal his mother, he heard a response as an audible voice. when Kris woke up
the following morning, his mother was miraculously healed. About a week later, the voice spoke to him again.
Shortly after this, Kris came to know God during what was called the Jesus Movement.
Kris and Kathy met during a family vacation in Clear Lake, California.
In 1975 Kris and Kathy were married and they both worked at an auto repair shop in
Sunnyvale, California. After a couple of years, Kris suffered a serious nervous breakdown.
After this they decided to move to Lewiston, a small town in the Trinity Alps of California.
The breakdown lasted for more than three-and-a-half years. One afternoon, Kris was persuaded to
attend a Christian retreat in the mountains. During the meeting, Dick Joyce called him out of the
crowd and gave him a prophetic word. As a result of this word, Kris was delivered from his torment.

A couple of years later, Kris and Kathy moved to Weaverville, California. While there, they became
leaders in a church called Mountain Chapel. This is where they met Bill and Beni Johnson. Kris and
his wife Kathy served as leaders at Mountain Chapel for seventeen years.
During most of the years that they lived in the Trinity Alps, they owned and managed multiple
businesses.
Kris and Kathy have two sons and two daughters. Three of these children are now in full-time
ministry.
In 1997 they moved to Redding to found and direct the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.
