Kingswell Theological Seminary

Kingswell Theological Seminary is located in Middletown, Ohio in the Castell building at 1124 Central Ave . It is a newly forming seminary serving Dayton and Cincinnati in Southwestern Ohio. Kingswell has begun efforts to help revitalize the downtown Middletown, Ohio area, which is in keeping with their missional statement "...to engage culture" . In addition, Kingswell began offering seminars for local ministers and laymen in January 2011.
It endeavors to "equip leaders to build healthy churches and to engage contemporary culture". It has the intention to be Ohio Board of Regents approved and will seek accreditation upon initial startup of graduate programs in Fall 2012. The school is chartered with the IRS and the Secretary of State of Ohio.
The still developing graduate level programs will offer learners the opportunity to reflect constructively (for the duration of their program) within a formation group of peers mentored by local leaders (within a formation church community), while being engaged in the study of the biblical text, history, theology and culture in the classroom.
