Khorshed Alam Sujon (; born on 14 October 1958) is a Bangladeshi politician and Administrator of Chittagong City Corporation. He is also the vice president of Chattogram Mahanagar Awami League. Political career Khorshed Alam Sujon joined politics through Bangladesh Student League. During his student life he was the General Secretary of Government Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College, General Secretary of Chittagong University and later become the President of Student League. Sujon, who joined the Student League in 1980, was elected president of the Kattali Ward Student League two years later. After serving as the General Secretary of Government Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College Student League, he was admitted to Chittagong University (CU) in 1966 and played a leading role in organizing the Bangladesh Student League there. At one stage, Sujon was also the general secretary and president of the Chittagong University Student League. After graduating in sociology, he was admitted to Dhaka University. Sujon, who was the Vice-President of the Central Bangladesh Student League in 1982-1984, later joined the National Student League in Bakshal. He also served as the president of the organization for the period 1986-1988. Sujon, who played an active role in the anti-Ershad movement at that time as a member of the Central Students' Struggle Council, had to go to jail twice. During the Awami League's non-cooperation movement against the BNP government in 1996, Sujon was at the forefront of various programs including the blockade of Chittagong port. Sujon was a close associate of A. B. M. Mohiuddin Chowdhury in the labor movement and the port-centric movement. This Awami League leader, who is known as an "Enthusiastic Speaker", has also led various civic movements in the last few years. When the last Corona Virus infection started, Sujon was also active in the social movement with various crises of medical services in the city. Khorshed Alam Sujon has been working as a dedicated leader of the team for many years. He is currently the vice-president of Chittagong Mahanagar Awami League. Although he wanted nominations from the team many times, he did not get nomination. He was last nominated as the Administrator of Chittagong City Corporation on 5 August 2020.
