Dr. Keyur Parikh (Born 1958) is a cardiologist.

Keyur Parikh was born and brought up in Dar-es Salaam, Tanzania. He did his preliminary studies there before moving to India. In India he joined St. Xaviers Loyola Hall School, Ahmedabad (Gujarat). By the time he graduated from school, he was a top honor student. He did his medical college in India and then moved to Los Angeles, California for further education. He started his medical profession in Fremont, California with a few other doctors.
In 1995, Keyur Parikh shifted to India with his family. He is a firm believer that "India's should be raised in India to meet their culture." He moved with his parents, wife and three children - Shivam Parikh , Roosha & Parth to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. There he started his own private practice.
Soon Keyur Parikh started a company called Care Cardiovascular Consultants (CCC) - a team of cardiologists based in Gujarat. This was one of the first instances of Group Practice in India. A year later he also helped create an organization based on cardio-vascular disease called The Heart Care Clinic. The Heart Care Clinic spans more than 18 doctors that include cardiologists, surgeons, other sub-speciality staff and nurses.
In 2006, he formed a Clinical Research Organization and Clinical trial management called Vibgyorcare VIBGYORCARE WEBSITE. The organization is one of the leading Clinical Trial organizations in India.
Awards & Recognition
Dr. Keyur Parikh is the holder of the American College of Cardiology-2004 International Service Award. Awarded for:Commitment in cardiology in medically developing or underdeveloped countries, having provided specific service to enhance cardiovascular care and / or education in medically developing or underdeveloped countries,For continuous dedication to international causes, For being a role model for others to follow.

He was included by Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board in “Who’s who in Medicine and Healthcare”(Inclusion limited to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their own fields of endeavor and who have contributed significantly to the betterment of contemporary society.)
In Ahmedabad Medical Association (Branch of Indian Medical Association)
he was awarded the “B.N.Mehta Oration-2002”, a yearly oration awarded to distinguished doctors once a year, in Ahmedabad, India. Subject: “Evidence Based Medicine” and later, the Order of William Harvey Member of the “Order of William Harvey”
He is also a lead article submitter and presenter for various articles in popular and renowned medical journals, nation and international publications including - Indian Heart Journal, Gujarat Medical Journal, CSI Book 2005, The Cardiological Society of India , ESC-World Congress of Cardiology and ACC Conference. He also held medical programmes and was often called as guest speaker.
During several health related interviews with local newspapers, he talked about various factors leading to heart attacks, not commonly known.
In 2007, he met up with Dr. Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) to inaugurate one of his books recently published. A year before he was in the company of Chief Minister (Gujarat) Shri Narendra Modi for his initial published book. He also met up with Mrs.Sunita Williams (Astraunaut). He has set "Warren Buffett" as his idol and follows the preachings or teachings of his mentor - and as an Investor. He met Warren Buffett at a Share-holders meeting as well.
