Kevin Patrick, born 16 May 1993, is a serial entrepreneur behind a growing portfolio of brands held under K Patrick Projects Ltd. Kevin became enterprising shortly after joining secondary school where he suffered racial bullying. This social pressure catalysed a change in Kevin's attitude, motivating him to start using his lunch money to buy sweets and give them to other children at school to stop them from bullying him. He later realised that this was unsustainable and started to sell them. He was recently featured on the showcase site fidgitbox talking about his experiences and in particular this one. Shortly after he stopped selling sweets at school, Kevin joined a project headed by Young Enterprise which resulted in the creation of Capoeira, a clothing branding company. Kevin then took the expertise and experience he gained from this venture and used it to create Team Tops in October 2007. In Decemeber 2011 Kevin Patrick was a finalist in the community hero awards by BBC Surrey & Sussex under the 'Local Entrepreneur' category. He is now a speaker on SchoolSpeakers.com and takes pride in sharing his story and inspiring other young people to start their own businesses. Kevin continues to grow his portfolio and positive impact with ventures such as Label Noire and Green Cloth to name but a few of the organisations he has added to his portfolio. <references http://fidgitbox.com, http://team-tops.co.uk/, http://locate.so/293/Team-Tops-in-Camberley-Surrey, http://www.label-noire.co.uk/Label_Noire/WELCOME.html, http://greencloth.co.uk/ /, http://brightonlite.wordpress.com/2011/12/13/bbc-sussex-community-heroes-awards-2011/>
