Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse

The Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse is the nickname for the Minnesota Vikings team's front four defensive line in 2008. Specifically: Ray Edwards, Pat Williams, Kevin Williams and Jared Allen. The name references common name by several people in the Vikings Blog community including the Daily Norseman web site but the first recorded use of the name attributed with these particular four Vikings players was noted on Vikings Valhalla right after Jared Allen joined the Vikings in the NFL 2008 off-season.
