Kenneth McDaniel

Kenneth Anthony McDaniel (born December 20, 1973) is a former American football offensive guard for the Minnesota Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League. He also was a member of the Amsterdam Admirals in the World League of American Football and the Norfolk Nighthawks in the af2. He played college football at Norfolk State University.
Early years
McDaniel attended Lee-Davis High School, where he started as a two-way lineman. He accepted a football scholarship from Norfolk State University. As a redshirt freshman, he was a backup at right tackle. As a sophomore, he became a starter at left tackle in the fourth game of the season.
As a junior, he missed 3 games with a sprained right medial collateral ligament. As a senior, his offense led the nation in passing, averaging 367.4 yards-per-game.
Professional career
McDaniel was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 5th round (157th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft. He was released on August 25. In September, he was signed to the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad
In 1997, he was allocated to the Amsterdam Admirals of the World League of American Football. He was released by the Admirals on May 7. He was released by the Vikings on August 24. On September 3, he was signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad. On February 18, 1998, he was allocated to the Rhein Fire. In 1998, he was released by the Buccaneers.
In 2000, he was signed by the Norfolk Nighthawks of the af2.
