Robert Callaway (born February 14, 1988) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently a practice squad member for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Callaway played college football at Saginaw Valley State. Professional career Callaway was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2010. He was later released during final roster cuts. He spent much of the 2010 season on the Detroit Lions practice squad. He was waived by the Lions on September 3, 2011. On November 1, 2011, he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys to their practice squad. This move corresponded to the promotion to active roster of punter Chris Jones. |
