Keith Paras

Keith Paras (b April 4, 1989) is a Filipino visual artist.
His parents are Eden and Kezia Paras. He took up grade school at Eulogio Rodriguez Elementary School in Mandaluyong City and high school at the Philippine High School for the Arts at Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Painting from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.
Paras took up painting as he was influenced by other artists such as Malang and Cris Cruz, his mentor.
Paras met Malang and Cruz in a workshop by the Saturday Group of Artist in 2000 where Malang was chairman emeritus and Cruz was chairma. Paras became a member of the Saturday Group in 2001.
Paras is currently a member of three art groups, The Satruday Group of Artist, Pintados “PHSA Visual Arts”, and the Filipino Portrait Artist Guild Inc. (U.P. Diliman).
He garnered awards and recognition such as the Mandaluyong Young Achievers Awardee for 2000 and One of the 10 Outstanding Fine Arts Students SY 2006-2007 at U.P. Diliman.

He has joined and won multiple art competitions such as the Art Petron National Student Art Competition and NCR-On-The-Spot Poster Making Contest.
