Kazungul Book 1; Blood ties - Awakening of the ancestral curse, is a sci-fi novel released in 2014 by Author Marcus L. Lukusa, the book was firstly release in South Africa in July 2014 by BK Publisher a local South African Publisher, it was then published worldwide by Partridge Africa on 14 November 2014. It’s the First book of the Saga “Kazungul” from which two additional titles are awaiting publication as mentioned by the Author, release are due for next titles in 2015-2016 and final title 2016-2017, but there could be a surprise title following the 3 books said the Author but it’s yet to be revealed while mentioning the upcoming titles after Blood ties; Kazungul Book 2; Sanctuary of Blood - Enoch’s Chronicles which will be followed by Kazungul Book 3; Chronos’ Blood thirst - War of the Elementals.
The Plot
It is year 2008 in the heart of Johannesburg South Africa, Young Raymond Bakaraï awakes to his ancestral curse and taken into supernatural dimensions where he comes to discover that he was no ordinary boy, curious about his origins he embarks in a quest that take him deep to discover the secrets about the beasty spirit that have haunted their blood lines. While he faces the demon forces around this blood curse; he discovers that not only he was a Kazungul but the Re-incarnated soul of a Faraway planet’s Emperor, as he transcends to raise at the consciousness of Ra; the past leader of Astataurus, a planet orbiting Sirius. While fighting to protect his kind, Raymond is trapped in a love triangle, between seduction and romance, he battles to make the right choice but fate is not too harsh on him as he keeps on going.
Led by one of the ancient of his kind, Raymond’s mentor Enoch Bahati teaches him how to uncover his gifts, fight against his deadly enemies and save not only the Kazungul race but Earth entirely as the battle of Gog and Magog is unleashed and Raymond’s responsibilities are not limited to his blood curse but to the Universe as a whole.
