Katherine Elizabeth Lai (born September 1, 1989) is a Canadian actress, best known for portraying Kendra Mason in Degrassi: The Next Generation (seasons 2 and 3). She also starred in Super Rupert (2001). Lai had minor roles in The King And I (1999), Taming Andrew, and The Camera. She has performed with the Toronto Youth Theatre in their productions of Urinetown (2006) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (2006) and debuted on the Hart House Theatre stage with Lysistrata in 2007. Lai is fourth-year student at the University of Toronto. She is currently a member of the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, in the soprano section. Lai was born in Toronto, Ontario. |
