Jade Michael LaFont

Jade Michael LaFont (born October 13, 1986 in Cut Off, Louisiana) is an American film and theatre actor.

His first major role came in 1998 as Niels in the period drama film The Road Less Traveled. Following this film, he has acted in a number of community theatre productions in southern Louisiana and recently played supporting characters in the horror films Wolfika and '.

' will be being released through Brain Damage Films in March of 2008. The film will be premiering in Torino, Italy at the Empire Movie Theatre.

He is currently attending Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, Louisiana. He is majoring in English Education with a minor in Mass Communications and is active in with The Nicholls Players theatre group there.

He is in talks with Rokk Productions to play one of the leads in their upcoming haunted house film tentatively titled The Ghost which will be shooting in Franklin, Louisiana.
