Katie Cyrus (Born Kathryn Alexa-May Cyrus on November 22, 1992) is a small time model and actress. She is the cousin of singer and actress Miley Cyrus. She has done a cameo for High School Musical,High School Musical 2,Hannah Montana, (alongside Miley Cyrus) Twilight, 17 Again, and upcoming The Cake Eaters. Cyrus was one of the back-up dancers for Miley Cyrus on her world tour, but dropped out half way through. Early life Cyrus was born in Sydney, Australia, She is one of the very few Cyruses born in Australia. She is the daughter of Kevin Cyrus born in Tennessee. She has a younger sister called Marissa and a older sister called Ashlee, who is a back-up dancer for Vanessa Hudgens. Cyrus has been homeschooled for nearly all of her school years, because of her relation to Miley Cyrus and other personal reasons. Even though Cyrus didn't attend school she still had time to make friends through community and social events like cheerleading, dance, volleyball, singing and guitar lessons. |
