Kalle Oskari Mattila (born October 22, 1991) is a Finnish writer and marketing expert living in New York. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Business Insider and Monocle magazine. His first article was published in Finland's largest newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, when he was 13 years old. Mattila's work has also been translated into Greek and Portuguese. Mattila has served as Communications Manager at Finland's leading think tank Demos Helsinki and at Penguin Press in London. His work has been shortlisted in the international FutureBook Innovation Awards. When Mattila was 12, YLE, The Finnish Public Broadcasting Company made a documentary about his life and his interests, titled Kalle's World. It was shortlisted for Best Finnish Short at the International Children's Film Festival in Oulu. He holds three silver medals from the Finnish Streetdance Championships and 8th place in the European Streetdance Championships from 2006.
