K. M. Akbar Ali (born 30 Aug 1958), popularly known as Kasiyar Akbar Ali, is a track and field athlete from the state of Tamil Nadu. K.M.Akbar Ali has been associated with Indian athletics since 1975. He is one of the greatest athletes in Tamil Nadu. K.M.Akbar Ali is an Ilayangudi social activist who led movements to promote town development, increase government transparency, and investigate and punish corruption in public life..
