K-1 Rules Africa Bomba-Yaa 2006

K-1 Rules Africa Bomba-Yaa 2006 was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It was a showcase event involving a number of 'Super Fights' fought under K-1 (100 kg/156-220 lbs) and K-1 MAX Rules (70 kg/152 lbs) with the pick of the bouts involving Francois Botha against Espedito Da Silva. As well as 'Super Fights' there were also two 'King of the Ring Pro World Title' fights; one at 70 kg between Goran Borovic and Vuyisile Colossa, the other at 105 kg between Stipan Radic and Andrew Thomson, both fought under Muay Thai Rules. In total there were twenty fighters at the event, representing six countries. The event was held at the Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday, October 14, 2006.
