K-1 Fighting Network KHAN 2006 in Seoul

K-1 Fighting Network KHAN 2006 in Seoul was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It featured a number of ‘Elimination Fights’, fought under K-1 MAX Rules (70 kg/152 lb weight class), with the winners proceeding to the K-1 Fighting Network KHAN 2007 in Seoul - the ultimate goal being a place in the K-1 World MAX 2007 Final. As well as the ‘Elimination Fights’, there was also a ‘Opening Fight’ and a number of ‘Super Fights’, with the pick of the bouts being the matchup between Virgil Kalakoda and local favourite Chi-Bin Lim. In total there were twenty-two fighters representing seven countries. The event was held at the Jangchung Gymnasium, in Seoul, South Korea, on Saturday, 16 September 2006.
