Justin DeBower

Justin "JD" DeBower (born September 11 1991 in Charles City, Iowa) is an American basketball player. He stars at Charles City High. DeBower is among the Midwest's most highly rated basketball recruits according to Rivals.com. He is ranked 9th nationally in basketball. DeBower is the nation's fastest rising quarterback in the 2010 class.

Early career
DeBower began playing basketball seriously in preschool. At that time, his father was able to arrange for him to enter a basketball camp for sixth graders. DeBower was amongst the best players in the camp, which was his first taste as succes.

High school career
DeBower starred on the varsity basketball team as a sophomore. He led the team in scoring. However, the team finished a disappointing 4-18 on the season. DeBower's play earned him nomination for the prestigious NEIC Honorable Mention team.

During the offseason, DeBower was featured on the spring league team. This was where he became noticed by AAU and college coaches alike.

College career
DeBower is being recruited by Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, and Central Michigan.
