Judy Wietz (born 1954) is the Chief Executive Officer of Compucast Web, Inc. Business Life Judy started Compucast Web, Inc. in 1994 to bring the positive aspects of New Orleans to the limelight. The New Orleans-based company specializes in web design and development. A large portion of clients are in the tourism industry, however Judy also works with a number of non-profits and churches. Judy was integral in bringing Mardi Gras into the 21st century with the creation of mardigrasneworleans.com and through Mardi Gras Live, a live video broadcast the Mardi Gras festivities. Weitz is admired for her work following Hurricane Katrina. Working from Houston, Judy helped businesses begin rebuilding starting with their online presence. She also matched job seekers with job creators. Professional Organizations Judy is an active member of Mid South Women in Tourism, National Association of Women Business Owners, Skal International New Orleans, The Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association, New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce. She is also a well known speaker on the subject of internet marketing and web design at universities, visiting conventions, the LTPA Tourism Summit, and was appointed to the Computer Information Systems Occupational Advisory Board of Unitech Training Academy. Personal life Judy currently lives in Metairie, LA with her husband Mark Weitz. She has two sons: Matthew and Michael Weitz.
