The Sessions Joshua Helgason Abel was the lead singer, synth player and rhythm guitar player for The Sessions, 2005 - 2008, a Canadian band that won the worlds largest battle of the bands, Emergenza, in 2006. In the 2006 season, 7,631 bands from 16 countries competed, and The Sessions won first place at the finals in Rothenburg, Germany. The band recorded an album with the world renowned producer Bob Rock and the album is entitled The Sessions Is Listed as In a Relationship. The album's available on iTunes. Josh Helgason Abel left the band in 2008 and formed Stars of Boulevard soon after. Stars of Boulevard Josh Helgason Abel is the lead singer of Stars of Boulevard, a band out of Vancouver, Canada. SOB recorded their track "You Can Take The Money" with recording duo Jeff Dawson and Mike Fraser. They also have their songs "Limousine" and "Sabretooth" available for Rock Band from RockGamer Studios. Stars of Boulevard played two nights on the Chevrolet stage at Whistler's Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival, in April 2010. <p/>
