Nick Brooks

Nick Brooks (born December 25, 1985) is an American professional wrestler trained at Florida Championship Wrestling, and the cousin to Phil "CM Punk" Brooks. He was born to Carolyn Jean Johnson and Rocky Leroy Brooks. Nick's father is a former semi-pro Boxer from when Sioux City, Iowa had a boxing promotion. Nick's first interest in the world of professional wrestling would stem from watching Shawn Michaels while he was growing up. Nick also owns several shares of stock in World Wrestling Entertainment in recent years.
Career
Nick Brooks trained at Florida Championship Wrestling starting on July 21, 2009. His trainers would be Steve Keirn, Norman Smiley, and Tookie Tucker. It would be here that Nick would learn his most valuable lessons in his life and about the world of professional wrestling. One of his first lessons would be on his first day in the business was not to be afraid of the boss. Nick trained for three months where he would be given the name of "Northwest" Nick Brooks given to him by his mentor Tookie Tucker. In that three months he would wrestle with guys almost twice his size and could hold his own at a small yet built 176 lbs. Stemming from this at Nick's first inpromtu Interview with Steve Keirn he would be asked how he felt about his opponent. Nick would reply with "You know I may not be the biggest, smallest, or even strongest guy in here, but we got this new cardio workout, that I think we can go in there, and do a 60 minute Iron Man Match right here next week on FCW." That match however would never happen at least not so far due to Nick's regular job at Northwest Airlines back in Iowa as at the time they were merging with Delta and he had to go back for training. Nick crushed over this spoke it over with his trainers, and they all said that having a steady job is important in this business. Nick reluctantly would return home to Iowa and is now where he currently resides working for Delta Airlines. Nick after speaking with Sal Thomaselli was put in contact with Jaysin Strife, and possibly may be back to wrestling as soon as May 22, which would be the case as he would return to the ring under further study of Jayden Draigo, Jaysin Strife, and Stephen Saint. With further training, and being in attendance at Pro Wrestling Phoenix show he was able to assist in set up of the ring, as well as the assembly of the cage for the cage match of the night. Nick participated in the Pre-Show Scramble for Sanctuary Outreach Wrestling on May 29, 2010. He would take a huge backdrop and suplex to be finished by the STF.
