Joseph McGee

Joseph McGee is the horror fiction author of several novels including In the Wake of the Night, Snow Hill, The Reaper; he is also co-writing The Hollow with acclaimed novelist, Eric Enck, which is a forthcoming release.
His most recent acknowledgments has been the success of his short story trilogy, Phil’s Place - exclusive to Amazon.com - and the recipient of high praise.

He enjoys his work with such passion that, though he may be young and lacking the experience of veterans in the literature field, he finds time to lend advice to those seeking their first publication. And like some writers, he always finds time to write back to people asking about his work, via E-mail or regular mail; and recently found out that in the UK and Australia, readers are beginning to catch on to his storytelling.

His work has been praised by such literary talents as Eric Enck, Joe McKinney and other mass-market and small press authors, as well as widely circulated and nationally published periodicals.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, his love for writing started, like most acclaimed writers, at an early age. He honed his skills early in high school when he made his first major sale of his novella Pictures & Photos.

So far he has written near 80 short stories which were sold to every type of circulation magazine imaginable; from hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands, thus making professional sales, and some can be found in the anthologies: The Sound of Horror and Gifts from the Flesh. He also doubles on occasion as a reviewer/interviewer of which he has done interviews with such people as Bram Stoker award-winning author, Christopher Golden and author, Jon F. Merz (The Lawson Vampire series).

At the mere age of 22, Joseph McGee has arguable accomplished more than any writer his age with several novel sales, dozens of short stories under his belt and a top-ranked reviewer listed on Amazon.com. He has also appeared in 18 periodicals before his 22nd birthday, from local to national distribution magazines, both print and electronic.

Joseph McGee claims his influences to be Dean Koontz, Jack Ketchum, Tom Piccirilli and Tim Lebbon, which he says "These are just a great bunch of writers, some of the best on this world. No one can touch them."

He resides in Massachusetts with four felines.
