Jonathan Rosenthal

Jonathan Rosenthal is a Toronto criminal lawyer and adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School. Called to the bar of Ontario in 1989, Rosenthal is a Toronto criminal defence lawyer and the legal spokesperson for Beyond Borders, an anti-child abuse organization. Rosenthal refuses to defend accused pedophiles or child molesters. Rosenthal is also one of a handful of Canadian Lawyers who has an AV rating, the highest rating possible, from Martindale Hubbard.

He coached the team of third-year Osgoode Hall law students which won the 2007 Sopinka Cup national trial advocacy competition.

On July 4 2008, Rosenthal argued with Ezra Levant on national television. Rosenthal argued in favor of Child Services right to take children from homes with 'racist' or otherwise unpopular political viewpoints. After Rosenthal suggested that Levant's wife seek counseling for holding opposing views, Levant dubbed him a 'pompous windbag'.
