Jon Mattox is an American composer, and record producer from Southern California.

Music licensed for television, TV promos, video games, and advertising include Burn Notice, The Closer, Turner Network Television, TAG Heuer, and Vogue.
Drumming
As a session musician, Mattox has worked with a large variety of artists and bands including recordings or performances with Ziggy Marley, Rob Halford, Joan Osborne, Roy Z, Days Between Stations, Nels Cline, Mike Watt, Young MC, Freebo, Lee Sklar, Geza X, Doug Pettibone, John Fumo, Shelby Lynne and many others. He was a member of The Young Dubliners from 1993-1999 and recorded and toured extensively with the group.
Mattox has endorsement contracts with Istanbul Agop Cymbals, Aquarian Accessories, Factory Metal Percussion, and Rhythmtech percussion.
