John Tyler Hammons (born September 4, 1988) is an American politician from the state of Oklahoma. Hammons is currently a candidate for mayor of Muskogee, Oklahoma. If elected, Hammons will be the youngest mayor in Muskogee's history as well as one of the youngest mayors in the United States. Born and raised in Muskogee, Hammons graduated from Muskogee High School in May of 2007. He is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Political Science and Public Administration. Went to Oklahoma Boys State in the summer of 2006 and announced he would one day run for Governor of Oklahoma and President of the United States. |
