John Marshall Roberts

John Marshall Roberts is an applied behavioral scientist and communication strategist. His articles on social psychology, empathy, sustainability, marketing and overcoming cynicism have appeared in TriplePundit, GreenBiz.com, LOHAS Journal, and CTN Green.
Professional background
In 2009, Roberts founded the communication strategy firm Worldview Thinking. He has been hired as a communication strategy consultant by clients including Small Planet Foods, New Zealand Department of Conservation, SustainAbility (of England), Plunket Royal Society, EcoAlign, D&R International, and The Shelton Group.
In 2010, Roberts launched the Roberts Worldview Assessment at the Sustainable Brands conference in Monterey, California. The Assessment is a psychometric tool that asks respondents about their core values, attitudes and thinking styles to create a portrait of their communication worldview.
In 2010 Roberts also released an interactive online Empathy training course designed to help aspiring business and social entrepreneurs become more effective leaders for their cause.
Roberts has been invited to speak by a variety of organizations including the US White House GreenGov Symposium, Sustainable Brands Conference, LOHAS, the SustainAbility (England), and TEDx ChCh (New Zealand).
