John Marshall Mulreed Fairley

John Marshall Mulreed Fairley (Born on the 10th July 1968 in London) is an award-winning British Creative Director and Graphic Designer, renowned within the industry for a variety of successful projects and commissions including corporate branding and identity, advertising, film posters, literature, editorial and digital design. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (formally, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) in 2005 for his contribution to charitable work through design.
John was born in Wimbledon and attended Ditcham Park School, Hampshire (1979-1985). He studied at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, University College (1985-1986).
He has worked with numerous national and international clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Harrods, Tate, V&A Museum of Childhood, Rolls-Royce Limited, Unipart, Vue Cinemas, Paramount Pictures and Universal Music Group.
He's currently Creative Director and Founder of Creation, London - a creative advertising and brand management agency.
John has won numerous awards for his work. These include the London International Awards, DMA Awards, Graphis Inc. and the Type Directors Club.
As well as being a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, he is also a Member of the Chartered Society of Designers and a Member of the International Society of Typographic Designers. John is also a Member of the New York Chapter of AIGA and the Art Directors Club of New York.
He was a Creative Circle Judge in 2013 and in 2014 and is a very active member of design and advertising communities both in the UK and Internationally.
John lives in West London with his wife Emily and their two dogs Alfie and Harvey.
