Lisette Rene Sacks

Lisette René Sacks (born April 26, 1972 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is an American creative director and graphic designer, She is currently a creative director at MRM Worldwide, the digital arm of McCann Erickson in New York City.
Career
Sacks was educated at New Mexico State University's School of Fine Art.
Interested in typography from a young age, Sacks interned at New York City's Purgatory Pie Press in 1997, a boutique letterpress and design firm whose work is on permanent display at various renowned museums, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In 1998 Sacks worked as the first U.S. design intern at the seminal technology publication, Wired Magazine.
An early curiosity about the power of online advertising led her to Vantage One/FutureNext in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was an art director from 1999-2001. She briefly worked for American Greetings and then Doner Advertising, both in Cleveland, Ohio.
She moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2002 and worked for a couple of years in local publication design before landing at LP&G in 2006. Sacks was the Creative Director at LP&G in Tucson where her Do More Blue Tucson recycling campaign, won three Gold Addy awards in 2009. In 2009, Sacks' career finally propelled her to the New York agency MRM Worldwide where she is now the Creative Director on the General Mills account.
Sacks' work is characterized by directness, strong use of typography, simplicity, humor and genuine human emotion. She uses various mediums to resolve creative challenges and her style ranges wildly from simple to complex in her many logos, websites, video games, book jackets, ad campaigns, posters, TV commercials and magazine illustrations.
Clients
Sacks has produced work for clients as diverse as Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Moen Faucets, Bisquick, Sherwin-Williams, Cleveland Clinic, Miraval Spa, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
