John Adrain (born 1960) is an American entrepreneur and inventor. He is also the CEO and founder of Safety and Security and Heracles Research. His products, in particular the BedBunker, received mainstream prominence after a parody feature on the Stephen Colbert show. The National Geographic channel calls him a ‘Doomsday Prepper’. Inventions Adrain has developed a variety of products; including bullet-proof blinds, safes and bed bunkers for security storage, as well as security chips for automobiles. Early life Adrain was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended college at Utah State University, earning a degree in business administration.
