Joharul Alam is a Bangladeshi businessman, investor, Managing Director of RR Group Bangladesh and a pioneer of ship recycling business in Bangladesh. He is a notable figure in Chittagong ship recycling Business.
Johar started his professional life as an executive of Royal Ship Recycling Industry at an early age of 13 due to sudden death of his father. The first process of recycling old ships was done under his administration in Chittagong. He joined Modern Steel as a head executive in 1981. Later on he partnered and established a number of firms which later on taken under operation of RR Group.
