Joey Sagal was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Sara Zwilling, a writer, singer, and director, and Boris Sagal, a noted producer and director. His siblings include actors Jean Sagal, Liz Sagal, and actor & singer Katey Sagal.
Favorite film roles include 2014-Not Another Celebrity Movie-Staring as George Clooney in a spoof of Oceans 11. Also from the stories of Stephen King- TNTs-Nightmares and Dreamscapes- "They've got one hell of a band", were he played Elvis Presley as the Mayor of Rock n Roll hell, . Joey has played Elvis Presley in movies,TV and on stage, (usually playing the ghost or spirit of Elvis), Joey played Elvis in the original Steppenwolf theatre production cast by Steve Martin for his play "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" that played at the Geffen Playhouse, others in the cast included Pulitzer prize and Tony winner Tracy Letts and Tony winner Rondi Reed, he then played the same part five years later at the Laguna Beach Playhouse, both Productions he was in broke all box-office and attendance records for the theaters and companies he worked with.
