Jimmy Robbins

Jimmy Robbins (born James Michael Robbins on September 3, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. He is signed to Universal Motown and is in the process of releasing his debut album. He can be heard on Radio Disney with his song "Step One".

Born and raised in North Carolina, Jimmy thought himself how to play the guitar at the age of 8, wrote his first song when he was 11 and proceeded to touring with his former band before he could even learn to drive. He then embarked on his own solo songwriting project before even finishing high school.

Too Sorry For Apologies

Jimmy Robbins started off as Too Sorry For Apologies (also known as TSFA), an accoustic solo project.
He quickly gained a huge following. Using mostly Myspace to help him connect with and reach a broader fan base, it wasn’t long before people started taking notice. Fans found it easy to relate to him and his lyrics about girls and deeper family issues.

Starting out with just demos on Myspace, Jimmy wrote and self-released his debut LP Sleep the Pain Away in 2005. He followed up that full length by writing and self-releasing the EP Too Sorry For Apologies in 2006, which also contained his trademark acoustic pop hooks and charming vocals. He was able to get his EP up for sale on ITunes.

Debut Album

18-year old Jimmy Robbins signed to Universal/Motown in the fall of 2007, and is currently in the process of writing his debut album. Co-writers so far have been Evan Taubenfeld (Avril Lavigne), Matthew Wilder (Kelly Clarkson) and Tim Pagnotta (Sugarcult).
Demo's for his album can be heard on his official MySpace.
