Jib Machine Records

Jib Machine Records is a Cleveland, Ohio based record label founded in 2004.

Early History

After the disbandment of his group, the j. pyramid, John Templeman (aka Charlie) decided to take his music career into his own hands. So, in the spring of 2004, Templeman formed the independent label, Jib Machine Records, as a means to distribute his solo recordings as well as releases from his former and future bands. The label officially went into business on January 1, 2005 and its first three releases consisted of reissues from Xing (Stuff) and the j. pyrmaid (tradition kills intelligence) as well as the first installment of the JMR Official Bootleg Series (JT - NYC Acoustic Demos/Restoration). In February 2005, the band Hot Ham & Cheese became the first group to sign with Jib.
