Jhallong river camp

Jhallong river camp is a favourite attraction for tourists in North Bengal. It is situated in a small triangular land in the lap of Jaldhaka River.
This River camp is governed by West Bengal tourism department. If you want to stay, book the camp from government tourism department in B.B.D Bag .
The price of food is excessive costly. You can bring own foods and cook here.

Low price tents are more safe as all are placed in front of camp and guards, caretakers available all the time. But you cannot enjoy beauty of nature from there properly.
High cost tents are placed more backwards and the heights of mountain just cover these tents..
During rainy seasons this place submerge under water.
Best time -- Summer and spring season.
Nearby ( around 5 km) view Point, Bindu, India are another attractions.Bindu river originates from here.

The reservoir of the Dam attracts many species of birds and this includes Kingfisher, Brown Dipper, Redstart, Laughing Thrush and some Water Fouls.
