Jesse Tanner

Jesse Tanner is a Swiss professional ice hockey winger who is currently playing with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds of the Swiss League (SL) as a prospect to Genève-Servette HC of the National League (NL).
Playing career
Tanner moved to Geneva at age 15 to play with Genève-Servette HC junior teams. He spent his first full season with the U17 team before splitting his second year between the U17 and U20 team. Tanner became a regular with the U20 team starting with the 2017-18 season. That same year he won the Elite Junior A title with Servette. Tanner made his professional debut during the 2018-19 season, playing 2 games with the HCB Ticino Rockets of the Swiss League before returning to his junior team to finish the season. Tanner and Servette went on to win back-to-back Elite Junior A title. He started his final junior season in 2019-20 on the U20 team before being called up to make his National League debut. He eventually played 12 games with Servette in the NL this season.
On March 20, 2020, it was announced that Tanner, along with teammate Stéphane Charlin, would be spending the 2020-21 season on loan with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds of the SL.
International play
Tanner represented Switzerland at the 2018 IIHF World U18 Championships.
