Jennifer Josy

Jennifer Josy (born in 1985, in Mannheim, Germany) is a German fashion model and stage, film and television actress.
Background
She was born as Jennifer Kurucz. In her teenage years she appeared in a number of stage productions in Germany including the role of "Vera Claythorne" in Ten Little Indians by Agatha Christie, performed in the National Theatre Mannheim and the "Beauty" in the Beauty and the Beast.
In order to prepare for her American acting career she spent one year in Northern California as a Rotary Exchange student and graduated from Woodland High School in 2003. After passing Abitur examination] and qualifying for university in Germany, she confirmed her final decision to dedicate her career to the field of professional acting and moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to attend the two-year program at Stella Adler Studio of Acting from which she graduated from in 2007.
Career
Josy made headlines with several leadroles in stage productions, including Hurlyburly, Vampire Masquerade, Seven Deadly Sins and Girlesque. She has also modeled for Old Navy, Yuko and Sergio Tacchini.
She mainly focuses on acting in TV and film, having roles in Purple Bins (2006) and The Wanda Sykes Show (2009). She recently starred with German actor Ralf Moeller in Dejection.
She is a lead character in the upcoming comic book "Silicone Allie" which will be introduced at the largest comic book and popular arts convention in the world, the Comic-Con in San Diego, in July 2010.
