Paris Jefferson

Paris Jefferson is an English actress best known for her role as Athena in the television series Xena: Warrior Princess.

Biography
Early life
Paris was born in London, England, but the family moved to Australia when she was young. Her mother and grandmother were dancers. Paris spent most of her childhood in theatrical and musical classes. As well as acting she is also a writer, and a photographer.

Carrer
Paris began her career at 17 years of age, she went to San Diego to study acting. She studied at the San Diego Performing Arts Centre, where she played roles such as Madge in Picnic and Isabelle in the Ring Around the Lua. Upon her return to Sydney, she attended more classes at the Rodenweiser Dance Center and the NSW College of Dance, before becoming professional. Her credits include work in the theatre in Bay St. Theatre, where she worked in The Merchant of Venice, Yol.l., Carousel, The Good Doctor and Uncle Vanya.

Then she decided that London would be the next challenge, and would be ready to beat anything. A year later, Jefferson had realised most of her dreams. Her many television credits include, Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less and The Bill. Jefferson starred in the film Devil's Caress, and soon after made a participation in A Will of Their Own. For some time, she was in the series The Geeks, until she was offered the role of Athena on the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess, a character which she played for three episodes.

More recently, Jefferson starred in The Strauss Dynasty, and her most recent appearance on TV was in the movie The Diamond of Jeru.
