Jennifer Gilbert is an entrepreneur and TV personality. She briefly appeared on the third season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Personal life Jennifer Gilbert was born on Dec 24, 1968. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and received a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Marketing with a minor in Business in 1990. After graduation Gilbert moved to New York City. In 1994 Gilbert met her husband, Wall Street Executive Bennett Egeth and the two were married in New York City 7 years later. Career Gilbert launched her own business when she was 25 and is now the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of New York-based special-events company Save the Date in 1994. The company caters to Fortune 500 Companies and has been retained by clients such as The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Oprah Winfrey and singer Jewel. Gilbert also serves as the co-owner of Portamee, a baby carrier company. Jennifer Gilbert’s advice has been featured in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and InStyle Weddings. Gilbert received the New York City Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award , the Working Woman Magazine Entrepreneurial Award of Excellence and was voted one of Working Woman Magazine’s Top 500 Women Owned Businesses in the United States. Gilbert was briefly featured on Bravo’s hit reality show, The Real Housewives of New York City.
