Jean-Pierre Bolduc

Jean-Pierre Bolduc is a Canadian diplomat, who has held diplomatic postings as Canada's ambassador or high commissioner to several African countries, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Togo, Ghana and Senegal.
Originally from Coaticook, Quebec,<ref namesommets /> Bolduc worked for an international development project in Niger in 1974 before returning to Canada as head of the Canadian International Development Agency's humanitarian assistance division.<ref namesommets/> He became CIDA's ombudsman in 1999<ref name=sommets/> before being appointed to his first diplomatic posting in 2001.
