Jane Robbins

Jane Robbins serves as the current mayor of Pine City, Minnesota, which is located in Pine County just north of the Twin Cities metropolitan area and south of Duluth. The first woman to hold the position, Robbins was first elected mayor in 1992 and has been re-elected every two years since then. She is the longest-serving mayor in the city's history.
In 2008, Robbins received the C.C. Ludwig Award, the League of Minnesota Cities' highest honor for an elected official, presented to her for going the extra mile, for her contributions to improved municipal government, for the admiration and respect of the general public toward her, and for her selfless conduct focused on the greater good of the community.
In 2010, Robbins won the Women in City Government Leadership Award. She received this honor for her unique, individual achievements in Pine City, as well as her leadership and mentoring roles both inside and outside of the community.
