James Lawless

James Lawless (born 19 August 1976) is a member of the Irish political party Fianna Fáil and has been nominated to run for the 2009 local elections in the Naas Local Electoral Area of Kildare County Council.

Personal

He is originally from Co. Wexford but he moved to Sallins, Co. Kildare in 2001 and has been actively involved in the area since then. James holds a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Computing both from Trinity College, Dublin and currently works as a technical architect in the health insurance industry.

Community Work

James has been involved in community work since he moved to Sallins in 2001. He is a member of several local committees and is secretary of the Fianna Fáil cumann in the village. His work to-date has seen him involved in a wide range of local issues, in particular with residents' associations, commuter lobby groups and sports clubs.

In 2008, the Fianna Fáil cumann in Sallins nominated James as a candidate for the 2009 local elections for Kildare County Council.
