James G. Abruzzo

James G. Abruzzo (born May 11, 1950) is an American recruitment consultant, author, and educator. He is Executive Vice President, Managing Director, and Global Head of Nonprofit Practice at DHR International, an executive search firm based in New York.
Early life and education
Abruzzo was born to Sam and Stella Abruzzo.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Brooklyn College (1967-1973). In 1972, he enrolled in Queens College to pursue MS in Music Composition. Abruzzo earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Arts Management from Brooklyn College (1974-1976). In 1970, he attended Università di Bologna for a one-year Music program. incorporating labor tax policies, compensation guiding principles, transparent hiring assessment, gender wage disparities, and repercussions of donations, and tax exemptions procedure for nonprofits based business models. He is the Founder and President of Abruzzo Associates LLC., a consultancy firm for nonprofit organizations, established in 2005.
Since 2003, Abruzzo is associated with the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick (RBS) as Co-founder and Director. He retired from the post of director in late 2017.
From 2009 till 2012, he was on the School of Economics faculty at the University of Bologna,
