Jamal Slocombe

Jamal Slocombe is a British Singer and Songwriter. The sixteen year old R&B recording artist resides on the island of Barbados, and is one of the most popular teenage singers within the Caribbean region.
Biography
The Barbados Music Awards nominated artist has shared stages with the likes of Grammy Award Winner, Fantasia Barrino when he was the opening act for her concert in Barbados. He is mentored by Barbados' First Lady of Song, Carlyn Leacock. The noted vocalist performed at the internationally recognized event the Prestigious Sandy Lane Gold Cup where he shared the stage with international R&B Diva, Toni Norville. He has also performed alongside Livvi Franc, Hal Linton, NexCyx and Alison Hinds. The young soul singer, has toured the Caribbean performing in Martinique, Dominica, and Grenada.
Upcoming
He is scheduled to be the opening act for music legend and recording artist Stevie Wonder and to share the stage with chart topping group SWV coming January 2014. JSlo is expected to release his debut extended play coming Spring. The single from that release should be released on January 11th 2014.
