J. Goldstein (March 22, 1890 - November 12, 1961) was an American artist and business man who made a fortune selling mulch to farmers throughout the mid-West. J. Goldstein was born in Chittle Austria and died in Saint Louis Missouri, in the United States. J. Goldstein was a proud artist, husband and friend. When his family migrated from Austria at the turn of the century, they purchased what was once known as the largest plantation in the State of Missouri. Despite having a wooden leg and a left glass eye, J. Goldstein made a huge impact on American Impressionism. Contents 1 Background
