Mehr Tarar

Mehr Tarar (born 2 March 1968) is a Pakistani journalist and works as Assistant Editor with Daily Times.
Early Life
Mehr Tarar was born on 2 March 1968 at Rasulpur, Punjab, Pakistan in the well-known Tarar family there. She graduated from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia, United States with a in Journalism.. After the early break up of her marriage in Lahore, Pakistan, she remained a socialite in that city for many years and was later picked up by the 'Daily Times' newspaper to occasionally cover and report on some social events, based on which she started to claim to be a 'journalist'.
Controversy
She came into limelight when Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar alleged her of having an affair with her husband. Sunanda Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances on 17th Jan 2014. It was also alleged by Sunanda Pushkar that she is a Pakistani Agent working for ISI. Shashi Tharoor is Indian Minister of State for Human Resource Development.
Twitter War
On 15th Jan 2014, Sunanda Pushkar, through Twitter alleged Mehr of having an illicit relationship with her husband Shashi Tharoor.
Sunanda Pushkar also accused Mehr Tarar being secret agent of Pakistan's Intelligence agency ISI.
Personal Life
Mehr Tarar has a 13 year old son.
