Ideology The 'about us' page on the 'Islamic World Peace Forum' website begins with the following, : "Peace is the lofty ideal and objective of divine religions. Wherever distanced from the reality of religion and religious orders, peace, in different periods of history, has been construed by humankind in different ways." and continues in a similar style. Website The 'Islamic World Peace Forum' website lists seven objectives of the 'forum'. It claims a board of trustees, a strategic council and secretary general. The 'forum' also describes a number of committees including those for 'research and science', 'international communications', 'culture and publications' and 'meetings'. It also describes a structure of departments including those dealing with religions, NGOs, communication with academic institutions, and the 'realm of women'.
