Syrian Researchers

Syrian Researchers is an initiative launched by the Syrian researcher Mouhannad Malek PhD in cooperation with Syrians residing in Syria and abroad, and supported by young Arab intellectuals. The initiative was born as a page on Facebook. The team of the Syrian Researchers initiative is estimated to be 150 active volunteer participants lead by Mouhannad Malek, and they're divided into 20 subgroups both administrative and specialized, while the followers of the Facebook page have exceeded 58,000 followers.
The work of the volunteers is divided into two categories; the first one is translation of studies, research articles (old and new), innovation news, and discoveries. This category sprung from the belief of the initiative in the role of translation in the enlightenment of societies. The second category is the publication of studies, multimedia material and research articles by the intellectual volunteers of Syrian Researchers, who are mainly creative individuals, students, academic researchers and professionals in all fields.
The volunteers of Syrian Researchers are spread across the world from Japan to the United States, and it includes undergraduate students, graduate students and post graduate researchers in all fields: sciences, engineering, humanities, literature and art.
The Facebook page of Syrian Researchers opens the door to questions (general and specialized), and suggestions. Since its launch, the page received many messages which were addressed carefully by specialized volunteers.
